WHA Footprints on the Trail
The WHA Footprints on the Trail Art Show is an eclectic, more contemporary group of over 60 Western Heritage Artists who exhibit at the Great Falls Holiday Inn. At this show, the longest continuously running show during Western Art Week, you’ll find work in a wide variety of genres, from painting and sculpture to woodcarving, leather, metal, wheat, scratchboard, wheat, batik, photography and more.
This once a year opportunity allows the public to mingle with a variety of talented artists (and even see some in quick draw action Friday and Saturday night). WHA artists are open and friendly, willing to answer questions and discuss artwork with guests. Many favorites are returning to the show this year along with a handful of new members.
What makes the WHA Footprints on the Trail Art Show so unique is the wide range of art mediums and prices, and the spacious setting with artists packing every room on the 1st and 2nd floor. Whether guests are purchasing a print or an original artwork, there’s no reason to leave empty handed. This spaciousness makes navigation easy for buyers and helps them feel relaxed. The Holiday Inn’s restaurant and sports bar/casino is an added convenience..
There will also be free giveaways daily, with guests winning certificates for artwork.
The show begins Wednesday evening with an awards ceremony and atrium show which features every artist, and includes live music, drinks and appetizers. The atrium show continues through Sunday.
