Jennie resides in the beautiful Evergreen State of Washington with her husband, adorable pets, and family, but actually started her career in the Land of Magic (as she calls it), Alaska.

As a self-taught artist, Jennie is still learning new techniques that help her accomplish her vision, presenting her art in a way that touches those who view it.

“I have a love of working with pencil, color pencil, and now scratch board,” she says. “To me they are such unique and amazing mediums. I like to create not only images I see, but to capture them with as much detail and realism as I can. When a work of mine attracts someone from across the room, and they move in closer, and get within inches so that they can study it close up–that’s when I have accomplished my mission.”

Jennie’s artwork has won numerous awards in Washington and Oregon, and is available in both private and gallery settings.
